The Ranch:
A natural environment, high fence hunting destination located in the heart of Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. Adjacent to State Land, Superior Wildlife Adventures (at Superior Game Ranch) offers the perfect get away spot with comfortable and relaxing lodging, while providing a fun and challenging hunt for all types of hunters.
Ranch Owners:
The Wehner Family are proud new owners of Superior Game Ranch. Effective November 25th, 2020, Barry, Pat, Cody and Chase Wehner have taken over the hunting business which has had a long standing “superior” reputation. Each member of the family brings a skill set to the hunting operation that will continue to build on the previous owners’ reputation and success. Dr. Barry Wehner is a large animal veterinarian: Pat is an agriculture and natural resources educator; Chase works on the Great Lakes and will be involved when not on the boat.

Cody Wehner
Cody has a degree in agri-business management from South Dakota State University, has guided professionally in CO and WY for 5 years and is highly experienced with raising, breeding and hunting a wide variety of animals. Plus he’s a pretty good guy to be around!
According to Cody: “Big game hunts are so much more than carrying a gun. It’s the love of the outdoors, enjoying and appreciating nature, learning and respecting the animal, spending quality time with family and friends, and knowing you are providing top quality food for the table.” Owning his own business is Cody’s lifelong dream and he is eager to pass along his passion for and knowledge of raising, breeding and harvesting game animals. “Meeting new people that become life-long friends is a fantastic added bonus!”

We work with each hunter to deliver an individualized, amazingly fun and challenging hunt. Whether it is to stalk your prey or sit in a heated blind waiting and watching … ….each hunter will be more than satisfied with the results.
